- Contaminated slides, stitch cutters, guide wires, trocars and razors.
- Blood stained or contaminated glass.
- Any other contaminated item likely to puncture a bag.
- The Sharps Box must never be placed in a healthcare waste bag.
- No free liquids, and should not be filled above the marked line.
